Possible cause from a lighted cigarette in a chesterfield or a waste paper container. Approximately $17,000 damage to home caused when three young children aged 8, 6 and 5 started a fire on the front porch. Undetermined damages to outbuildings and the car. One outbuilding fire caused when gasoline ignited while a man was filling a lawn mower. Commercial building fire was to a refrigeration unit. A call causing considerable concern came in as the mill on the PoCo Trail was on fire. Port Coquitlam having only one mill we assumed it was the Pitt Timber, but after another radio call we found a smail building off Harbour Street with a sign on it reading "Royal City Mill". 29 home emergencies consisting of strokes, heart attacks, -asthmatic attacks, falls causing injuries, boy scalded, boy with dislocated shoulder and a man fell from a tree. 3 people found passed out on sidewalks in 44 Inhalator calls. Industrial accident was a man hit on the head.and he different incidents. Attended 5 motor vehicle sustained a large cut over the eye and was unconscious. accidents. and 3 overdoses.
