Re: Amendment to Animal Regulation By-law

On the reverse side of this memorandum is a By-law to amend the
City's Animal Regulation By-law that has been recommended by our Solicitor
and the Council will note that revised wordings for Sections 3 and 4 are
provided.
The present Sections 3 and 4 read as follows:
"3, No person shall allow any dogs to run at large within the confines
‘ of the City.
4. No person shall allow any dogs, whether running at large, or upon
a leash, to trespass on any private property."

Our Solicitor believes that changing the two Sections as suggested

will make the enforcement of our By-law much easter.
