WOLD, KARL E.

On Saturday, February 28, Mr, Karl E.
Wold of Clivar, formerly of Terrace
passed away at the South Okanagan
Gonoral Hospital al the aga of 67 years.

Aservice of ramombrance for tha tata
Karl Wold was held on Tuesday, March
10 from Christ Lutheran Church in
Terrace,

Interment followed in tha Terrace
cemiotery.

Ho will bo sadly missed and lovingly
remembered by his family including
Flose, his devoted wile of over sixty

Three children; Janes (Conna} of
Terrace, Avaline (Gordio) McConnell of
Terace and Clarence (Jeannie) of
Crofton, 8.0. and son-indaw Bert
Schooler of Edmonton.

Eleven grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren as well as three sisters,
Ingeberg, Ellen and Hjordis-all of
Nocwanj and many nieces and naphews.

Ha was pradecaasad by his daughter
Dorothy in 1982 as welt as his sister
Sophie and infant brother.

Karl was bom and raised in Norway
and came to Canada in 1930 and set-
Hed in Alberta.

Karl and Rosa moved fo 8.C, in 1939
and In 1942 they settled in Teraca
where he was a commercial fisherman
and carpenter.

They maved ta Parksville trom 1972
until 1987 whan they came lo Oliver.

Karl was a long time member ef tha
Lutheran Church,

Ha always enjoyad the outdoors,
camping and traveling.

Alice Venne - Marcoux
pf (nae Leclerc) was born on

danuary 19,1914 in Richer
Maniloba. Sha lived in Lorstte,
Manitoba until 1966, when she moved
fo Terrace with her new husband Gerry,
Mosl precious to Alice was her family,
relatives and her friends.

She loved singing, playing cards, gar-
dening and most of all har flowers.

"No mother could opan her arms or
her homa more than our mother did.”

On March 3,998, al tha age of 64
years, Alice died paacefully al her
home with her beloved husband Gerry,
her daughter Rachel & Kathy Cote al
her side.

Sha will ba dearly missed by her hus-
band Gerry of 31 years, her 7 children,
Leo Paul (Helma), Yvonne Milanese
(Lec), Arthur (Annette}, Cecile
Anderson (Hal), Lorraine Labossiera
(Ron), Rachel Cote (Leo} and Monique
Grossman (Phillip). 3 Brothers:
Marcien, Lucian and Antonio 26
