That this application be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS-1l (Large Lot Residential) to RM-% (Apartment) under Section 963 of the Municipal Act subject to: a. Completion of a design te the satisfaction of the Director of Planning; Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements; Submission of landscaping plans to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department; Satisfaction of Building Department concerns; The project being subject to 1993 rates for Development Cost Charges 3 Consolidation of the properties into one lot; and g- Issuance of a Development Permit. That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit No. 34/93; and 3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when completed subject to the conditions noted above. BACKGROUND: A Rezoning and Development Permit Application has been received for the construction of 28-unit apartment building at 3425 and 3437 Coast Meridian Road. The site is currently zoned RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) and is designated for "Apartment" in the Official Community Plan.
