iy PRT A Rea gotten ai A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council Meeting of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 30th, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator, J.G.S. Maitland, Acting City Engineer J.E. Yip, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, Director of Parks and Recreation KJ. Taylor, Fire Chief J. Baillie and Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley. Mayor Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2 To rezone: Lots 1, 2, and 3 District Lot 466 Group One Plan 13361 New Westminster District from RS-] (Large Lot Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment). The property is located at 1509, 1521, and 1529 Grant Avenue and would permit the development of a 44 unit apartment building. Mr. T. Miller, 1543 Fraser Street spoke in opposition of this proposal as he dislikes Realtors/Developers tactics in obtaining property and submitted a letter sent to him from a Realtor soliciting his property. Mr. Miller also expressed concem regarding traffic in the area. Mr. Roger Navabi, Developer, explained features of the development and the engineering requirements that will be fulfilled.
