5) Make recommendations to the GVRD Development Services and
Transportation Committee on how to achieve regional cycling goals in the
Fall of 1992

6) Prepare a map of regional commuter and recreational cycling routes in
the Spring of 1993.

At its February 14 meeting, the elected representatives on the Regional
Bicycle Task Force agreed that each municipality should be encouraged to
hold a public meeting in their community to seek public input and receive
comments on the Bicycle Issues Paper which will be sent out to your
municipality's by the end of April, and prepare a summary report of their
findings for the Regional Bicycle Task Force.

I want to thank you in advance for your municipality's participation and
involvement. Together we can make cycling a vital and integral part of our
region's future.
