meana a flexible plastic or fabric Sign,
excluding an awning affixed to a building;

means a sign forming part of a bench located on
public property at a bus atop, rest area or park;

means any structure used or intended for
supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy;

means the micipal official duly appointed by
Council fiom time to time to administer the
building and Plumbing bylaw of the City;

means any projection from a building, other than
a canopy; .

means carrying on a commercial or industrial
undertaking of any kind or nature or the
providing of professional, personal or other
services for the purpose of gain or profits

méang a permanent hood, cover or shelter, other
than a projecting roof, which projects from the
wall of a building;

means a sign attached to a canopy or located on
the face of a canopy;

means a sign on which all or part of the copy can

‘be changed manually or electrically;

means The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam or the territorial area within its
boundaries, as the context requires;

means the municipal official duly appointed by
Council from time to time to administer the
public works of the City;
