COMMENTS: In reviewing the plans for +his development it is noted the building scheme being proposed is a variation of a design theme ‘used in the Whistler Town Centre. Concerns raised about this building scheme relate to its appropriateness Tv a entrance To a low density subdivision. Specific concerns noted about the proposal are as follows: 1. “Building form and finishing material is different from the standard used for all other buildings in the vicinity. 2. Massing of the buildings appear to have a much higher density than other buildings in the vicinity, le. most of the surrounding development is single family. 3. The site plan for the development places private open space for some units immediately. beside Citadel Drive. 4, Layout of units along the north side of the development, have suites lined up orienting windows into neighbouring suitese 5 a image of the development from Citadel Drive will be for a building having a greater height than its setback. The building also has a long length. 6. Facade details appear heavy and may present smudge problems with age and rain.e cone /a
