WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling

portions of road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitiam in the Province of
British Columbia;

WHEREAS tne Registered Owner of the tand described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has
agreed to convey the said land to the City so that it may be established as an
addition to the roads in the City.

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revisad Statutes of British

Columbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counc!| of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam,
in open maeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is nereby authar|zed to convey to the
Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof al! those portions
of dedicated road shown hatched on a plan certified by Helge Jacobsen, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 22nd day of May, 1987, at or for the price or sum of
$3,627.50 and in exchange for those certain parceis or tracts of jand described in the

next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of and
from the Registered Owner thereof those portions of tand included within the heavy
outline on a plan certified by Helge Jacobsen, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated
the 22nd day of May, 1987, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for
those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the preceding Section hereof.

A copy of the plan referred to in Section | and Section 2 hereof is attached to this
bylaw ‘and made a part hereof. |

Those portions of road dascribed in Section 1 hereof, are hereby closed and stopped up
to traffic of ail kinds.

Those portions of land described in Section 2 hereof, when conveyed to the City, shall
be established as additions to the roads in the City.
