BYLAW NO. 2031

A Bylaw to amend the "Council! Procedure Bylaw, 1968, No. 899".

The Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Section 401 of the "Council Procedure Bylaw, 1968, No. 899" is amended by
renumbering it as Section 401 (a) and by adding the following:

"(b) Untess any member of the Council then present objects the presiding officer
may accept a motion that combines the giving of two or more readings to a
bylaw at one time." .

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Counc!! Procedure Bylaw, 1968,

Amendment Bylaw, 1984, Nc. 2031".

Notice of Intent given this 9th day of April, 1984.

DRAFT RESOLUTION:

"That Notice be given of the intent of this Council to
give consideration to the 'Counci! Procedure Bylaw,
1968, No. 899, Amendment Bylaw, 1984, No. 2031' at
its next regular meeting".
