The first priority for new Revenue Sharing projects in
1982 is the Kingsway reconstruction from Mary Hill Road to Wilson
Avenue. This is required because of the imminent transfer of the
bus interchange to the C.P.R. Station Property when the commuter
rail service is implemented. This section of Kingsway is in bad
condition now and we would expect that it will get worse once it
becomes used regularly by buses. The second application is required
because the Kin reconstruction could not be completed due to

Funds for the above projects are either Carried over from
udget or are included in the 1982 Provisional Budget.
The cost estimates on the two projects which were not funded in the
1981 Budget are as follows:

1. Reconstruction of Kingsway from Mary Hill Road to
Wilson — Total Cost: $360,000 less D.O.H. Revenue
Sharing: $180,000 less D.C.c., contribution: $80,000
Cost to Budget: $100,000.

Reconstruction of Broadway from Kingsway to Cameron -
Total Cost: $962,000 less D.o.H. Revenue Sharing:
$191,000 less prepaid drainage: $60,000 less D.c.c.
drainage: $130,000 less D.C.C. road: $191,000 -
Cost to Budget: $390,000.
