Jenuary 4ch, 1976 The 1976 Inaugural Ceremonies of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the city of Port Coquitlam were held at the Hyde Creek Recreation Centre, 1379 Laurier Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on January 4th, 1976 at 2:30 p.m. His Worship: Mayor J.M. Campbell and Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch,P.Eng., City Building Inspector N. Chernoff, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.Ulmer, Parks Super- intendent W. Kim, City Planning Officer Lanscn Lee and Mrs. M.K.. Warwick. Campbell then called on Provincial Court Allegiance Judge F.C. Giles to receive the required Statutory Declarations and administer the Oath of Allegiance to: Jack Marshall Campbell - Mayor _John Joseph Keryluk . Aldernan George Robert Laking Alderman Eric William Mabbett Alderman thus enabling them to serve as Mayor and Aldermen of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam upon commencement of their terms cf office. Judge Giles then received the Statutory Declarations of and administered the Oath of Allegiance to: William Mayhew Johnstone School Trustee Eunice Yvonne Parker - School Trustee Margaret Morrison Smith School Trustee.
