mat Stikine Regional Dis-

nancial contribution to-
wards a video production
that wades into the soft-
wood lumber dispute.

The regional district has
agreed to donate $500 to-
ward the production of a
23-minute video called
Canadian Jobs. and Ameri-
can Consumers — Paying
the Price.

The video will show the
hardships the U.S. tariff on
Canadian saftwood Jumber
is creating for workers and
their families.

It will also look at the
adverse effects the tariff is
having on U.S. consumers.

Local 1-425 of the In-
dustrial, Wood and Allied
Workers of Canada is ask-
ing for financial support for
the project, estimated to
cost $25,000. ;
