week. ME or Myalgic En-
cephalomyelitis and Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome are dis-
eases which are still a
mystery to doctors.

Dr. Les Simpson wili be in
Terrace on May 22 to speak
about the ME and CFS at
7:30 pm. in the Happy
Gang Centre. The talk is
open to members of the
public and admission is by
donation,

There is no test for CFS
and it is usually character-
ized by fatigue, depression,
memory loss and a loss of
comprehension skills and
concentration.

The quality of life for
someone with CFS can drop
dramatically and be similar
to that of 4 person with the
late stages of AIDS.

However, some people
with CFS are still able to
carry with their jobs to a de-
gree.

theme to promote reading
while having fun.

THEY TURNED their principal's office
into a dungeon, built castles and transported
knights and ladies into the school halls.

That’s what happencd to Thornhill
Elementary as students became excited
about a month-long library program called
‘Readers of the Roundtable.’

For 15 minutes every day the school was
transformed into a kingdom as everyone
read about Camelot, King Arthur,
