COMMENTS FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS The following comments were received from the departments noted. Engineering Department: 1. All utilities are in place (water/sanitary and storm). Water to a new building will require a meter. 2. Emergency vehicle access right-of-way to be maintained. Fire Department: The Fire Department has no objection to this application. Parks and Recreation Department: The Parks and Recreation Department request that the landscaping plans be submitted to the Department for approval. DISCUSSION Development Permit 42/90 will permit continuous development of the Meridian Industrial Park. A Development Permit is required because the building is exposed to the Mary Hill Bypass. The proposed design generally complies with the design guidelines for Development Permit Area I. Some concern still remains regarding the north elevation, but this can be resolved with some little additional design work.
