Recommendation:

It is recommended that the City of Port Coquitlam award J.T. Barkley
Architect the contract to provide an analysis regarding the a
feasibility of retrofitting Centennial Pool. d.Tf. Barkley Architect
submitted the low bid of $3,300 on this project.

Purpose/Problem:

The purpese of this report is to review for City Council's
consideration, the submissions received in response to our request
for proposals to provide an analysis of Centennial Pool regarding the

feasibility of retrofitting.

History/ Background:

City Council authorized monies on February 29, 1988 to conduct the .
aforementioned feasibility analysis. A eall for proposals was issued. -
by invitation on March 21, 1988. Two proposals were received by the .
April 15, 1988 (3:00 p.m, deadline.) .

Alternatives:

ider awarding this project to either company.
