SUBJECT: Justice Building Alterations $60,000.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City's share of the alterations to the Justice
Building (approximately $21,000) be taken from the unspent funds in the
Police section. of our budget.

BACKGROUND:

The District of Coquitlam is proposing alterations to the
communications centre of the Justice Building. Total cost approximately
$60,000 with our share being about $21,000.

We now know our R.C.M.P. costs for 1981 and I propose that
these upgrading costs come out of the police budget savings (estimated
at $109,000).
