Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That. By-law No. 1628 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted, Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Ranger asked for clarification of the Dawson Development Company's future plans regarding subdivision and stated his opposition to any subdivision: composed mainly of 40 foot Lots. Alderman Lak:ing stated there had been a proposal to subdivide the property into 40 foot lots, but that. this proposal had not gone to Council for approval. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Aiderman Mabbett: That By-law No. 1598 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried. NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Keryluk advised that when the upgrading for the Dalkey Building is being studied certain provisions should be made for use by handicapped persons. Alderman Laking advised the Building and Protection Committee would look into this. Alderman Ranger advised the Coquitlam River was very muddy and asked that this be investigated. Alderman Mabbett advised he noticed in the newspaper that the District of Coquiclam was installing bus shelte1s aad asked that further information be obtained from the District of Coquitlam on the bus shelters. Alderman Mabbett stated the entry and exi: to the Shop-Easy store parking lot should be right turn only and asked that the Public Works Committee look into this. Alderman Wright advised the Kinsmen had donated $2,000.00 for the Canadiana Section of the Library and expressed appreciation on the Council's behalf, View City.
