Re: Subdivision of Land By-law ~ Minimum Parcel Widths - RS-1l Zone At the regular Council Meeting held on June 5th, 1972 the following resolution was passed: "That as recommended in a Report from the Planning & Zoning Committee May 31st, 1972 the following recommendations with respect to minimum parcel width in the RS-i (one family residential) zone be approved: : 1. No change be made to Section 401 of the Subdivision of Land By-law-at this time; 2. The Approving Officer not recommend to the Municipal Council exemptions from the minimum parcel width requirement except as follows: (a) When the average frontage of the proposed -parcels on any road in a subdivision is not less than 60 feet (b) When (a) above is met no individual parcel frontage be less than 54 feet". Since June 1975 Council has considered ten subdivision applications requiring Council approval for frontage exemption. These ten subdivisions for the proposed creation of 117 residential Subdivision of Land pt for frontage, that is, the require- area, etc. complied.
