TNE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM BY-LAW NO.1334 A By-Law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918", The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: I. Part Tt “TNTERPRETATION" of the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" is amended by inserting the following definition in its correct alphabetical position therein: , . : “USABLE OPEN SPACE means a compact, level, unobstructed area or areas available for the safe and convenient use by all occupants outside a building, having ne dimension of less than 20 feet and no slope greater ‘than 102%, providing for greenery, recreational space and other leisure ‘activities normally carried on outdoors. In calculating usable open space areas used for off-street parking, off-street loading, service driveway and required front yards and roof areas shall be excluded." 2.0 Section 303 of the By-law is amended by adding the following as Subsection (7): "(7) Landscaping and Screening (a) fa all Zonés except the A-1, A~2, RS-1, or RS~2 ZONES, the entire required front yard and exterior sideyard except that portion required for access driveways shall be fully and suit- ably landsceped and properly maintained. ‘Any parking area or loading’ares shall be separated by an adjoining street or from ‘a divectly abutting let in an RS-1 “or RS-2 ZONE by a fully suitably landscaped and properly main- tained strip of not less than 6 feet in width. Screening of 8 feet in height shall be provided and properly maintained where any parking or loading area abuts a lot in an RS-1 or RS-2 ZONE, or is separated therefrom by a street or lane, except that where a parking area abuts a lane, the screening along the lane shall not be less than 2) feet nor greater than 34 feet. 3. Subsection (2) of Section 503 of the By-law is amended by adding the following paragraph at the ead thereof after the conclusion of clause (111):
