Steve Nickyforuck is a. familiar sight to shoppers at Vancouver’s Woodward's department store, where he sells up to 150 copies of the Tribune each week. Every year Steve is a contender for the honor of being the leading fund raiser in the Tribune financial drive. Two years ago he collected over $1,030. Last year he reached the $1,600 figure, and this year, with still more than four weeks to go in the drive he has already topped $1,200. It is people such as Steve, people who live and work with ‘| ‘Working people, the poor and the elderly, and who see the Tribune as leading the fight back in their interests, who are the lifeblood of our paper. Their donations, in one and two dollar bills, tell us that we are getting through and that our Paper is being read.
