Re: Poco Valley Golf & Country Enterprises Ltd.
(In Receivership) - Sale to Dr. R. McLean

Enclosed please find copy of Interim Agreement for the purchase
of the above, which has been accepted by the Receiver-Manager and approved
by the Courts today, in principle. Also enclosed is an Affidavit filed in
Court in support of Doctor MacLean's application, which gives some information
on his financial standing.

We understand that a Council meeting is scheduled for Monday,
March 6th, and it would be appreciated if you would obtain Council's consent
at that. time on the following two matters:

1. That the Council does not wish to exercise its option to
purchase;

That Council consents to Assign the lease of certain
portions of the Poco Valley Club from the present lessee
to Dr.R.MacLean, .

As you will note from the Interim Agreement, the "subject"
clause on the Lease Consent is to be removed by no later than March 10th,
1978, and as we understand the next Council meeting is not until March
20th, your assistance in getting this matter put before the March 6th
meeting would be greatly appreciated.
