The following peoplz spoke regarding their specific interests in the OCP: Mr. Philip Cartmel, 1750 Westem Drive spoke regarding his concerns with the Special Study areas, such as Colony Farm, and a Park Reserve under the Hydro lines, as well as traffic concems. Mr. Helge Jacobsen, 1480 Apel Drive, quzstioned if any changes had been made in the OCP from the Public Information meetings, there was too much power given to the Planner, and suggested restructuring arterial routes. Dr. Michelle Beaudrey, 144 Apel Drive felt that some people were unclear on the procedure of a Public Hearing, so therefore would like another hearing to be held, and also would like Victoria Drive rather than Apel Drive to be named as an arterial highway. Ms. Elizabeth Naidu, 2282 Irvine Avenue submitted a letter and also spoke in favour of housing to be developed along the 2200 block Pitt River Road and Irvine. Ms. Myra Ross, Reporter, NOW Newspaper would like a summary of objectives and policy on transportation, bicycle paths, commuter rail, and inquired if the amendments to the OCP had been made available to the public. Ms. April Mol, Burke Mountain Naturalists Representative would like Nacht Park designated as Park Reserve. Ms. Wilhemina Fine, 2353 Pitt River Road expressed concern regarding incomplete sidewalks. Mr. Peter Sherman, 559 Laurier Avenue protested against his property being designated as environmentally sensitive. Mr. Robert Bicknall, 1140 Castle Crescent expressed his concern regarding the designation of the waterfront. Dr. Brian Tucker, 3655 Shaughnessy Street quoted from a repealed Section of the Municipal Act. Dr. Tucker feels that the OCP has not had enough public input, and would like consideration delayed until after the civic election. Mr. Mike Forrest, 1620 Knappen is expressed concer that there will not be enough green space left in the downtown area because of the high density apartments. He is also concerned that the tree growth along the Fraser River dyke is obstructing the view. Ms. Maureen Mol, 1336 Pitt River Road submitted a letter regarding bicycle paths and transportation. . Mr. Bob Herr, 1928 Warwick spoke regarding transportation and a balance of growth and traffic. Mr. Bob Dhillon, 330 Lincoln Avenue would like a review of designated environmentally sensitive lands, and would like the Northeast Sector designated as Urban Reserve.
