City Clerk, Aug. 4/82 re Moved by Alderman Laking: 2475 Gately Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the Council of the City of Port Coquitlam hereby declares that the building located in the City of Port Coquitlam, Province of British Columbia, on land more particularly known and described as Lot 16, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 3106, New Westminster District, EXCEPT two parts on Plan with Bylaw filed 292263 (2475 Gately Avenue) is in so dilapidated and uncleanly a condition as to be offensive to the community. It is hereby ordered that the said building be demolished by the owners or agent of the owners, within thirty (30) days of service of this order upon them. It is further ordered that should the owners or agent of the owners fail to comply with the aforesaid order within the said period of thirty (30) days, the Engineering Department, by their workmen, or contractors, may be instructed to enter on the lands and demolish the building at the expense of the owners, and the charges for so doing, if unpaid by the owners on the 31st day of December, 1982 shall be added to and form part of the taxes payable in respect of that land as taxes in arrears.
