February 2nd, 1976 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was heid in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam ity Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on February 2nd, 1976, at 7:30 p.m, His Worshic Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer 1L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Minutes - Moved by Alderman Thompson: Jan. 26/76 Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on January 26th, 1976, be taken as vead and adopted. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Mabbetr referred to his remarks on Page 12 of the January 26th, 1976 Council meeting minutes concerning traffic tie-ups caused by trains at the level crossing on Pitt River Road, wich he stated should also have included mention of the level crossing on Kingsway Avenue, and 9 this change members of Council generally agreed. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: From the City Clerk, January 30th, 1976 stating he had been advised City Clerk re R.Spani by the City's Planning Officer that Alderman Laking wished to have the Subdivision-- : Lincoln Ave-j matter of a proposed subdivision on the South-west corner of Lincoln Cedar Drive Avenue and Cedar Drive, being the subject of a Public Information Meeting held in Lincoln Elementary School on Thursday, January 29th, 1976, placed on the agenda for the meeting this evening. The City Clerk then advised that the Planning Officer had prepared a summary of the meeting which was distribuced earlier today, and it was noted therein that the main concerns of the residents attending were about the traffic increase on Cedar Drive and the inadequacy of secondary school facilities.
