contract has beén awarded to
Kirkwood Construction of

Vancouver for the construction -

af a 40 unit Senior Citizen
Apartment Bleck on Kalum
north of the Arena and a 90 unit
- block in Prince Rupert.

Construction will get under

way in the jatter part of
January with a completion date
slated for June and July of 1975.

The cost of construction is
based on a 75-25 sharing plan
with the Federal Government
picking up the tab for 75 percent
and the provincial government

25 percent. There is no cost to

the Municipality.
