The prospect of the socialist world in 1968 is for a further extension in science
and construction which is bringing a steadily rising standard of living to the peoples
of these lands. Above is a new catalytic cracking installation at the Ilyich Novo-

West Germany “stewards” in typical SS style
attacked protesting citizens and carried them
brutally out of the hall. The dangers to European
and world peace from the revanchist policy of
the West German government still remains in

1968—election year in the United States. The central issues undoubtedly will
