Subject: Seminars, conferences and conventions

Recommendation:

That staff and Council be authorized to attend the seminars, conferences and conventions
outlined on the attached schedule and that their expenses be reimbursed in accordance with the
bylaw in place at the time of their attendance,

Background & comments:

The attached listing contains the seminars, conferences and conventions planned for this year, it
is anticipated that there may be some change in our bylaw covering expenses and the resolution
has been worded so that whatever the bylaw states at the time of the travel would be the basis for
expense claims.
