Wheeler, Recreation Manager/Deputy Director SUBJECT: Sign Bylaw Exception - Intermediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse (Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting May 4, 1992) That City Council waive the four week display timeline identified in Section 6.3,4(b), of the Bylaw to Regulate Signs and permit the PoCo Saints Intermediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse leagues to leave their sign in place until the end of July, 1992. Background & Comments: The Parks & Recreation Committee considered the attached memorandum dated May 4, 1992 regarding a request received from the PoCo Saints Intermediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse league to display their sign through the end of July, 1992. This one request represents the wishes of three lacrosse organizations. The objective of this request is also consistent with the City’s desire to encourage attendance at sporting events. In light of the above, the Parks & Recreation Committee approved the recommendation to permit the signs to remain on display until the end of July, 1992. Larry J.
