City Engineer Replacement of Diesel Fuel Systems (Public Works Committee August 21, 1990) Recommendations: l. That Council approve the replacement of the existing diesel pump and diesel fuel storage tank at the City Public Works Yard. Council approve the allocation of $24,500.00 for this aliation from i990 Public Works Capital Budget. Background & Comments: The Committee considered the attached report from the Operations Manager which regarding the corroded fuel tank and obsolete diesel pumps which is allowing water into the fuelling system and thereby damaging some of the City equipment.
