From the Public Works Committee, October 27th, 1988 regarding
Request to Relocate Guardrails ~ 2183 Western Drive.

Seconded by Alderman Talbot:

That no-post guardrails be placed in front of the existing
sidewalk on the road and in order to maintain the width of the travelled
portion of the road the road be widened on the inside of this curve.

Ana That the estimated cost of $13,000 for this work be funded
from the 19%8 Unallocated Public Works Capital Budget.

regarding Development Variance Permit No. 68/88 ~ 1861 Harbour Drive.

Seconded by Alderman Laking:

That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to notify surrounding
property owners of the application for a Voluntary Development Variance
Permit at 1861 Harbour Drive and to place the following resolution on a
subsequent Council meeting agenda.

And that City Council adopt a resolution relaxing the Zoning
Bylaw No. 2240, Section 802, RS-2, Subsection (5), Sideyard regulations
for Lot 'C', Block 55, D.L. 232, Group One, NWLD Plan 5854. The side
yard for proposed Lot 4 is to be relaxed from 1.2 meters to 0.
