Kirk DATE: April 21, 1987 ity Administrator ยป Brown Director of Community Planning Development Variance Permit No. 5/87 South end of Yarmouth RECOMMENDATION: That City Council authorize the Clerk's Office to inform neighbours about this application and to place a resolution on a Council Agenda approving relaxation of the Zoning Bylaw No. 2240, Section 601, Sub section (1) Subdivision Design and Layout, permitting relaxation of sthe minimum width of RS-1 lots backing onto Guest Street from 15 metres to 12 metres. COMMENTS: This application is to vary the side yard requirements of the RS-1 Large Lot Residential Zoning District to permit subdivision cf several deep narrow fots. These lots are larger than the 500 metre square minimum lot size, but do not have the minimum 15 metre lot width. This application is to relax the minimum lot width requirement. The rationale for this application is to remove the necessity to construct Guest Street for access to several fots at the south-east corner of the property.
