A Party shall forthwith notify all other Parties if it executes
“any Agreement to previde emergency resources to any other body
not being a Party to this Agreement.

Subsection (1) does not apply to any agreement in force between
the City of Vancouver and Her Majesty The Queen, as representad
by the Ministar of Lands, Parks and Housing and the University

of British Columbia,

All existing agreemants for the Vancouver Fire Boat shall remain
in force, unless cancel ied by agreement. The Vancouver Fira Boat
{s not included as part of the energency resources of Zone Four (4).

8. Every Party requesting or accepting emergency resources under this
Agreement shall be responsible for and indemnify the Party that provided the
emergency “esources from and against all claims, demands, Joss, costs, damages,
actions, suits, or other proceedings by whomsoaver made, brought or prosecuted

in any manner based upon, occasioned by or attributable to any action taken or
thing dene or maintained by virtue or in consequance thereof and all such claims,
demands, suits or actions shall be recoverable as 4 debt due te it from the other.

9. Notwithstanding Clause 8, no Party shall be responsibla for or in any way
Mable with respect to any claims, demands, loss, costs, damages, actions, suits
or other proceedings arising from or through the negltgence of another Party,

its agents, servants or employees.

10, Notices or other communications under this Agreement shall be
sufficiantly given if delivered to a Chief Fire Official personally or lett
at the Chief Fire Official's office or mailed to the following:
