Port Coquitlam, B.C. - Attention: Mr. William Stewart, President RE: Fund Paising Activities ; Dear Sir: Ms Arincueo We acknowledge with thenka receipt of your letter dated Marrh 22, 1973 concerning the above noted subject and in reply thereto we’ ould advise that vhen the sane was placed before a regular reeting of the Mumicipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held on April 2, 1973 the following two resolutions were passed: 1. "Thet the letter from the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association, March 22nd, 1973 referring to the organization and financial status of the Association be tabled for three weeks and referred to the Parka and Recreation Committee; AND THAT representatives of the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Assocfation te be requested to attend the meeting of Council to be held in three weeks tine.” 2. “That the roral support and approval of the Council be granted to the Port : Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association in view of the business-like and harron- fous support granted to all sports orranizations in the City." You will note that the reaolution first quoted above calls for your appearance before the Council in three veeks time - April 23, 1973 - but since this date is Eester Monday a Council reeting will, of course, not be held. We are unable to advise you at this tine whether or not a meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 1973 and it is entirely possible that the first meeting at which you would be able to be in attendance would be on Monday, April 30, 1973.
