Me at the Maritime Museum. ‘ The , Travelling Show is back and at the meeting on Thursday, Feb.20t, the returned pots will be auctioned. The money will be used to buy pots at Ceramics '75 to make up the next travelling show. Some books from the Guild's Library will accompany the new show. These books must stay with the show and are for reference only. They must not be checked out for individual use. Please write in soon and place your request for the show to come to your area. Mrs. von Hausmann is anxious to draw up a practical and efficient itinerary and share the costs with the various groups involved. How lucky can we be? Ruth Meechan has again taken up the editorship of the Western Potter and has promised us a Spring issue in April. Put on your thinking cap, get out pencil and paper and tell Ruth what you want to hear about; or better still, write a treatise, an article, a letter, or a poem, ‘and send it along to 315 W. Cordova St., Vancouver, V6B 1E5. Remember that communication is a two way street. The W.A. to the Canadian Arthritic and Rheumatism Society is planning its . Spring Art Sale at Hycroft on May 14% and 15%. There will be paintings, woven wall hangings and this year for the first time, pottery and sculpture. The artists set their own price, with 50% to C.A.R.S. and 50% to the artist. If you are interested send yourname and address to the Guild Office on Cordova Street by April 10%. A list will be made up and forwarded to C.A.R.S. who will send out entry forms. The Community Arts Council of Vancouver are sponsoring a lecture series by Jean Fahrni. She will speak on "Chinese Porcelain Trade Route Through S.E. Asia", at the Ruff Gibb Hall at the Vancouver Public Aquarium, Feb.20t at 8 pom.
