In Terrace a volunteer. com: menced canvassing for the Heart Foundation in 1969. Her daughter . had been born with a hole in her: heart and she wanted to help. She continued to volunteer until 1979 when she became an area captain. One year after she became an area captain, she was unable to find anyone to-help her, so she did the entire Keith Estate by herself. She has continued to work in this capacity.
