April 6th, 1981. By-law No. 1828: To rezone: (a) South 300' of Block "D" of the West 1/2 of the Northwest Quarter, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 6824 EXCEPT the Scuth 225' thereof; and, (b) Lot 1, Block D, Northwest Quarter, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 11944, from RS-1 to RM-4. This property is le ced at 3370/84 Coast Meridian Road and it is expected that following completion of the rezoning procedures 24 townhouse units grouped in four clusters will be constructed on the property. Access and egress to the development will be via Coast Meridian Road. The Architect of the project, representing the owner, was present and explained construction details of the proposed development. Alderman Mabbett advised that in his opinion the development was unsatisfactory from an appearance point of view and the architect responded by stating that it would, in his opinion, be a good quality development. Alderman Traboulay inquired as to the sale price proposed for the apartment units and was advised that this would be around the $105,000 mark. Alderman Keryluk referred to the comments made earlier concerning the project's design and suggested that the City's design panel review the drawings and His Worship the Mayor advised that he would see that this was done.
