Dear Mayor Traboulay:

The Orpheum Theatre is one of the most cherished heritage
buildings in Canada and serves as the home of the Vancouver
Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Vancouver
Chamber Choir. Although the symphony and choirs are based in
Vancouver, the excellence of their work reflects on all of the
Province.

The Orpheum Theatre people are hoping to assure the future of a
fe these three outstanding performing arts groups by asking Port i
. Coquitlam to consider the groups and their home, The Orpheum, a
Provincial asset. Perhaps the City of Port Coquitlam would
consider sponsoring a seat for $1,000, $2,000 or $3,060
depending on the location you choose. tn recognition of Port
Coquitlam's support, a personalized brass plaque will be Ne
permanently affixed to the seat you sponsor. The endowed seats ,
and the names they bear will become an inseparable part of the
legacy of fine music performed in the Orpheum, season after i
season. \

Proceeds from the sale of seats are administered by the Orpheum
. Theatre Foundation. Payment for Sponsorships of seats may be
. made in full, or in equal payments over three years. I hope
