Re: Bantam Tournament ‘87, March 16 - 22, 1987

Once again it has come around to that time of year when
the Port Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association's biggest tournament
gets into high gear.

We would, as in the past,request that council give consideration
to a reduced rate for the Tournament, which will require the area
complex for March 16th to March 22nd 1987 inclusive. As has been
past practice we would request that the charge for the ice surfaces
be fifty percent (50%) of the normally applicable minor hockey rate,
and that the charges for the other rooms be waived.

Further, it is our understanding that the Ringette Association
will not be requiring the use of. the Mabbett Room during the evening
of Sunday, March 15, 1987. As a result of this we would request that
the Bantam Tournament be availed the use of the Mabbbett Room on
the aforementioned evening from 7:30 PM to 11.00 PM, for a meeting
involving all the coaches and managers involved in the Tournament,
and that this be considered under the umbrella as outlined above.

As yet, a specific schedule for the Tournament has not been
produced but we can tell you that generally we will require the
ice surfaces from 07:30 AM until Midnight every da;
inclusive.
