Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Committee the Ice Rental Rates as follows: That the times for prime and non~prime times be: Weekdays — Prime: 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight Non~Prime: 12:00 mid. to 4:00 p.m. Weekdays ~— Prime: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight Non-Prime: 12:00 mid. to 8:00 a.m. That the "non-prime" time rate for Minor Hockey, Ringette and Figure Skating be reduced from the present $23.50 per hour to $19.00 per hour 3 That the rate for games for the Junior Metropolitan Team be reduced from $38.50 per hour to $30.00 per hour; That a "prime time'' commercial rate and a "non-prime" time commercial rate be instituted; That the "prime time'’ for commercial be $60.00 per hour and that the “non-prime" time for commercial be $45.00 per hour; That these rates come into effect January 1st, 1982; AND THAT new rates for ice rentals come into effect in January of each year, rather than in September, as has been done in the past; be approved.
