restaurant in the loca-
tion. At the May 24
meeting of the regional
district board, directors
voted in-camera to grant
Ridgway legal non-
conforming status.for his
building, giving him ap-
proval to proceed with
the project.

‘*I’m glad this came to
a satisfactory conclu-
sion,” Ridgway said in
an interview, ‘‘I intend
to apply for a zoning
amendment as soon as
possible, as advised by
the board directors, I'll
make every effort to run
this business as well and
professionally as poss-
ible."’
