DIVISION SIX — DIMENSIONS OF VRHICLES AND LOANS

the purposes of this division:
"highway" excludes an arterial highway designated under the
Highway Act; and

"Local service call" means operating, parking or stopping a
vehicle upon a highway for the purpose of delivering materials to
premises or collecting materials from premises.

The following classes of vehiclea are established:

(1) Class 1 Vehicle - a motor vehicle licenced under the Motor
Vehicle Act or Comercial Transport Act for a gross vehicie
weight of 4,600 kg. or lesa.

Clase 2 Vehicle ~ a motor vehicle Licenced under the .0r
Vehicle Act or Commercial Transport Act for a groaa sacle
weight of more than 4,600 kg., that is not required

the provisions of Division (2) of Part 11 of the Municipal
Act and "The City of Port Coquitlam Commercial Vehicle
Licencing Bylaw, 1964", Bylaw No. 770.

Class 3 Vehicle a motor vehicle licenced under the Motor
Vehicle Act or Commercial Transport Act for a groas
vehicle weight of more than 4,600 kg., that je required
to display a municipal licence plate issued in
accordance with the provisions of Division (2) of Part

1L of the Municipal Act and "The City of Port Coquitlam
Commercial Vehicle Licencing Bylaw, 1964", Bylaw No. 770.

(a) No person shall operate or use a vehicle or combination of

vehicles which is overloaded or oversized within the definition
in Section 1 of the Commercial Transport Act, on a highway within
the Qity, unless:

(4) a permit for the operation of the vehicle or combination of
vehicles has been issued pursuant to Section 9 of the
Commercial Transport Act; and

(41) a permit has been issued under this section by the City
Engineer, getting out the route which the overloaded or
oversized vehicle ia to take and the dates and hours of
permitted operation and use of the overloaded or oversized

vehicle.

As a condition of issuance of a permit by the City Engineer under
Saction 602 (a), a fee in the amount of $50.00 shall be submitted
with every application for such 4 paxmit.

A permit issued by the City Engineer under thie Section shall be
in the form aet out in Sched Tees 1 Ps Bylaw.
