FROM DONALD STREET TO LANE EAST OF SHAUGHNESSY STREI ° (Public Works Committee Meeting of April 2, 1993) RECOMMENDATION: 1} That Council approve the installation of a sidewalk along the north side of Wiison Avenue from Donald Street to the lane east of Shaughnessy Street at an estimated cost of $7,000. 2) Thar $7,000 be allocated from the Sneci-! Public Works Ca7‘tal Reserve Fund for this purpose. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: There is an existing sidewalk along the north side of Wilson Avenue from Mary Hill Road to Shaughnessy except for the area west of Donald Street as shown on Plan A. B.C. Transit proposes to install a bus stop on the north side of Wilson Avenue, just west of Donald in the area where there is no sidewalk at this time as described in the attached March 26, 1993 memo from the Project Technician.
