SUBJECT: TEMPORARY BUS TURN: AROUND ~ FOTORE SCHOOL PROPERTY, CLYADEL HREGHTS

Recommendation:

1. ‘That the City of Port ' Coquitlam request the School District No. 43
to approve a temporary bus turn around on Lot 1, Plan 72031, .
located in the northeast corner of Citadel Drive and Confederation
Drive.

‘Background & Comments :. . :

The Public Works/Traffic Committee and the City of. Port Coquitlam — School
Board Liaison Committee considered the. attached memorandum from the City.
Engineer regarding a proposed temporary bus turn around.in Citadel Heights.

BC Transit’ has’ informed the ‘exty of ‘Port Coquitlam that a public bus service.
could be extended into Citadel Helghts at this time if an appropriate
temporary bus turn around could be provided iby the City. |

The representatives from the School District No. 43 noted that the property -
north of Citadel. Drive and east of Confederation Drive would be. used for a
future school and that the School Board could approve the location of a
temporary bus turn around on this property at this time.
