May 30, 1988/133 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporatioa of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the “Campbell Room", Best Western Poco Motor Inn, 1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, May 30th, 1988, at 7:30 P.M. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.c, Farnworth, G.R. Laking, and R.H. Talbot in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R, Kirk, City Engineer T.M. Chong and Secretary S. Rauh. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Talbot: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting held on May 16th, 1988 , be taken as read and adopted; Carried. DELEGATION: His Worship Mayor 1.M,. Traboulay introduced Mr. Robert Stoffberg, Grade 7 Teacher, Irvine Elementary School along with several students who participated in a project writing to the Mayors and schools in cities throughout the United States and Peru, The students then presented a card of congratulations from the Mayors and Principles of these cities, to Port Coquitlam for its 75th Anniversary. BYLAWS: Item No. 2 Bylaw No. 2355 be deferred until the Council Meeting of June 13th, 1988, Moved by Alderman Laking Seconded by Alderman Farnworth: That the “Wilson Avenue Lane Road Exchange Bylaw, 1988, No. 2357" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. .
