BYLAW NO.1965 MAY 2 1939

A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port MAY 30 1983
Coquitlam to dispose of portions of Road shown dedicated on

Plan 1213 in Blocks 3 and 4, District Lot 379, Group One,

New Westminster District, in exchange for sufficient

land to relocate the said roads and lanes.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam is desirous of cancelling
portions of Road shown dedicated on Plan 1213 in Blocks 3 and 4, District Lot 379,
Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of

British Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this. Bylaw has
agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the tands comprising the
portions of Road shown dedicated on Pian 1213 in Blocks 3 and 4, District Lot 379,
Group One, New Westminster District to be cancel led;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Coiumbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway in exchange for such jands as may be necessary fer the purpase of improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: nee

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Cequitiam ts hereby authorized to convey to
the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 2 of this Bytaw, ALL AND
SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more

particularly described as follows:

All those portions of Road shown dedicated on Plan 1213 in Blocks 3 and 4,
District Lot 379, Group One, New Westminster District, having areas of 704.4
Square metres and 53.2 square metres shown hatched on a Reference Plan certified
by Walter £&. Frith, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 31st day of March,
1983, a copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and in exchange for thosa certain
parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

20 The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of
.and from the Registered Owner theraof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly deseribed as follows:

a) Alt that portion of Lot 18, Block 4, District Lot 379, Group One, New
Westminster District, Plan (213 having an area of 277.1 square metres shown
outlined in black on a Reference Plan certified by Walter E&. Frith, British
Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 31st day of March 1983, a copy of which. is

attached ;
b) All that portion of Lot 39, Block 3, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 1213

having an area of 98.1 square metres shown outlined in black on a Reference Plan
certified by Walter E.. Frith, British Columbia Land Surveyor dated the 3ist day

of March 19835, a copy of which is attached hereto; _
