A Bylaw to amend the "Election (Civic)

Procedure Bylaw, 1971, No. 1115". AUS 22 1883

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Clause (b) of Section 3 of the "Election (Civic) Procedure Bylaw, 1971, No. 1115"
is amended by striking out the expression "4.88 m2 (16 sq. ft.)" and substituting
the expression "1.48 m2 (16 sq. ft.)". .

This Bylaw may be cited tor all purposes as the "Election (Civic) Procedure
Bylaw, 1971, No. 1115,. Amendment Bylaw, 1983, No. 1992".

This amendment is required
to rectify an incorrect
metric conversion. . This
bylaw applies only to civic
elections. The policy
statement recently adopted
by Council applying to
Federal and Provincial
elections has already been
amended as we are sure it
is the 16 sq. ft. figure that
Council intended to govern.
