ing borrowers’ requests; updating and maintaining records of the circu-
lation collection and inventory; and working as a member of a team to
ensure the timely resolution of general Resource Centre requirements,
using both computerized and manual systems,

Manalta Coal Ltd. has applied to the Environmental
Assessment Office for a Project Approval Certificate
under the Environmental Assessment Act to develop the
Telkwa Coal Project located near Telkwa, in the Bulktey
Valley, in northern British Columbia. The project will mine
up to one and a half million tonnes of coal annually for a
mine life of 25 years. The. construction workforce will
peak at 170 to 200 persons over a 12 to 15 month peri-
od with an operating force at 120 to 140 employees over
the 25 years.
