EQUAL ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE SERVICES

WHEREAS the full range of medical services are not provided in each
region;

AND WHEREAS residents of Rural British Columbia must travel to larger
centers in other regions to access certain health care services;

AND WHEREAS travel expenses and lost wages are borne by the person
travelling;

AND WHEREAS this places greater costs on Rural Residents of British
Columbia to receive the same services;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Provincial Government be
petitioned to implement the following:
