Moved by Alderman Faruworth: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his memorandum cf June 6th, 1988 a Veluntary Development Variance Permit be approved relaxing the requirements of the Zoning Bylaw No. 2240 Section 801 RS-L Clause (7) Rear Yard Setback to permit a rear deck to encroach into the required rear yard by 10 feet for Lot 40, DL. 340, Group 1, Plan 75763. Carried. REPORTS: From the City Engineer, June 16th, 1988 regarding Request for additional Crosswalks. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: 1. That additional crosswalks be established at the following locations: a. On Coast Meridian Road south of Laurier Avenue. b. On Knappen Street south of Fooley Avenue. ce On Pooley Avenue west of Taylor Street. That the City Clerk be instructed to take the necessary steps to amend the Traffic Bylaw to reflect Council's decision on the addition of these crosswalks. That the estimated cost of $500.00 for the painting of these crosswalks be taken from the 1988 Unallocated Public Works Capital Budget and added to Maintenance Budget Account No. 22362.
